Who needs the New Yorker indeed. The blogosphere has made the mainstream media irrelevant and. worst of all, boring. With a few clicks I can get more good baseball writing than I could spending all day reading the papers.

Speaking of rounders-how 'bout signing Rollins with his lusty .304 OBP to a big extension? There are probably 30 guys at AA or AAA who don't hit and play the level of good but hardly great defense Jimmy provides. Any of them could be paid a little more than $300 K.

Feckless Eddie continues his long-standing tradition of "balancing" every good move (the Ugeth trade) with a bad one.

No, no, thank you Tom. Your blog was one of the first I came across and got me going on a little hobby I enjoy quite a bit. As a matter of fact, I was going to post something on this very topic later on in the week.

Steve

I read your site once a day. You make me feel a little guilty for not applying myself a little more in the blog-area... :)

Mom

I would enjoy reading SC even if I wasn't your mom! Love you.
